Pain Management

A direct tendon injection may be recommended to assist in symptom relief and ongoing tendon pain (tendinopathy). These injections can also assist in confirming whether the tendon is actually the source of your symptoms. This procedure is commonly considered for conditions affecting areas such as the shoulder, elbow, hip, or Achilles tendon.

How long does the procedure take?

Ultrasound-guided tendon injections are typically completed within 20–30 minutes, including preparation and a short recovery period after the procedure.
